I know rap isn't popular on here, to say the least, but he was one of the good ones in the rap game. From Woodlawn highschool to signing with No Limit Records and being a nationally recognized artist...

Rapper Young Bleed has passed away following complications from a brain aneurysm.
His son, Ty'Gee Ramon, took to Instagram Monday to announce the "unreal" news that his father "gained his wings" on Saturday ... and remember his father and his legacy, which he said he plans to continue.
quote:
We told you about his medical emergency ... the Louisiana hip-hop pioneer -- born Glenn Clifton Jr. -- was rushed to the hospital just days after a well-received performance at the Cash Money Verzuz No Limit event at ComplexCon in October.
The mother of his 10-year-old son, Tameka Long -- AKA Madamm Meek -- told us he had high blood pressure and a heart condition ... and was in the ICU and on a ventilator after suffering a brain aneurysm caused by internal bleeding.

As you know, Young Bleed helped put Baton Rouge hip-hop on the map in the late 1990s, gaining notoriety with his Master P collaboration on the 1997 soundtrack album "I'm Bout It." His 1998 album, "My Balls and My Word," went gold and reached the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 when it was released under Master P's No Limit label.
He continued doing what he loved until his death at 51.

Well there's a cause of death for a rapper that I wouldn't have bet on.

Maybe the oldest rapper to ever live with Bleed in his name.

Damn, I just saw him rap with the No Limit Soldiers in June at the Orion in Huntsville.

Yea, he was more hip-hop/lyricist than "rapper". He wasn't the gangster type.

Tank(his nickname growing up) was a good dude. Knew him all through school but also worked with him at Pizza hut in 1996-1997.
He was aways writing lyrics when not making pizzas.

that song really sucks, but those old Pen and Pixel style album covers were something else.

Key word(s) Baton Rouge
Not really legendary in the overall rap scene but for BR he was. Getting signed by No Limit at that time was a pretty big deal.
Not to be confused with actal legendary rap duo YoungBloodZ
