Yeah I’m not quite sure what direction this article was supposed to be pushing me in, but I’m still leaning towards the 7000 sqft and that view

ask yourself this - where would you rather be when the dollar collapses

Not living on the set of a fallout game for $30M I think.

Honestly, I'd want the NC property minus the dilapidated NASA facility. Who wants to have to worry about all those buildings and leftover shite (assuming there is nothing of value in it)?
ETA: or actually I'll take it and own the most badass paintball area ever.

I could find better than either for less money.

This is dumb, I will just take my $30million and get something in Jackson Hole

How far is that NC property from the nearest big city?

Granted SF isn't particularly desirable for me, but if I have $30m to spend on a property, I also have several other (likely over 100) million to spend on entertainment, culture, etc so give me the city property.

You haven’t lived in San Francisco.

That Jackson Hole property is by far the best investment, especially now.
That said, that view of the property in the Bay Area will never lose value.
The NC property is overpriced, considering the cost of remediation, one day, of those "NASA" buildings.
Now, look at property taxes, but sit down first.

That's beautiful....
Only thing I'd do is triple the size of the lake...

I think a lot of people seeing this:
but missing this
That's a LOT of cushion between you and neighbors.
All that said, this could be a nice alternative.
