Scott Shanle is right. Trade for more draft picks if you can.

Accumulating a large number of draft picks and making good selections with them is the only quick way out of this mess.

Unfortunately, we don’t exactly have a lot of pieces that other teams would find attractive in a trade.

Other teams want a fire sale. Some older players should be given away but our coveted WRs need to be be 2 and 3 respectively or just plain frick off.

They won’t draft well with Looooooomis in charge. Screwed either way.

Exactly this. Kamara fricked his trade value by saying he’d retire, so really we only have 2-3 others with any semblance of value. We are in a bad spot here. I don’t suspect many trades happening

We're bleeding so bad there really isn't just one or two positions that we need to be filled. It really is going to be two years of decent drafting to get this team competitive.

You have to take whatever our vets are worth if theres interest. Even if its a 6th or 7th. Spare me the culture bs, we are at the bottom. We see the team with these vets on it, and it isnt good, its getting worse as the weeks go on.

We need way more youth and players than we have available draft picks. Trade away anyone you can with a window less than 3 years after this season. I dont care if its 6ths and 7ths, its time to hit factory reset.

Yeah because the Jets, Raiders, Texans, Dolphins, etc., who have been piling up high draft picks for a decade, are on the right track?

The only "quick way out of this mess" is to start a season with all three of the following:

1. Coach
2. QB
3. Luck

and 2 out of 3 won't cut it

Can we trade Loomis to the Eagles and give them Vele in compensation?

so that's a lie. We have plenty of pieces that other team's would find attractive. It's just that Loomis and fans expect higher compensation. All players that the Saints can trade should get nothing better than 4th round picks or later

San Antonio Saints

New Orleans needs to start from scratch. It would be a quicker way out.

Draft picks, and trade back that 1st when it comes around. There is no QB in this draft worth using a #1 or #2 on. Rebuild your roster with youth, then get a QB in there that can work with it.

You never pass on a franchise qb for a lineman.
You always listen to your staff and scouting department not the Mel Kipers.

We are literally starting 4 rookies right now, including our 1st, 2nd and 3rd rounder. Stutsman starts if we get off of Werner.

I think we have to give the Saints front office credit for this draft. It isn't 2017, but it is exactly what you need in year 1 of a rebuild.

Exactly what is this grit. What does your tear down do that we aren't trying or already doing?

Id rather keep them if we cant get any better than that. We will still need to keep some of our good players. Not worth dumping them for pennies on the dollar if you ask me.
