BULLYING {ON} OFF

quote:

A federal judge has barred Mayor LaToya Cantrell and co-defendant Jeffrey Vappie from contacting each other without an attorney present while an 18-count indictment hangs over them.

The ruling Friday from U.S. Magistrate Judge Donna Phillips Currault amended Vappie's bond conditions. It came in response to a request from federal prosecutors who argued that Cantrell and Vappie, her former police bodyguard and alleged paramour, might continue "colluding" as they await a trial next year.

quote:

In court filings, Cantrell and Vappie both argued against the no-contact rule, saying they've each abided by their bond conditions and shouldn't be restrained any further.

The judge did Vappie a favor.

I’ve barred myself from any contact with either of those pieces of wretched refuse.

Does that mean someone is legally required to watch them bang it out if they want?

I wouldn't want to be the attorney on this matter even if its for $2500 an hour. This "collusion" between the two with an attorney present is cruel and unusual for all parties involved.

I thought there had always been laws against bestiality.
