Anybody hear Bobby Hebert’s rant tonight. He calls out Loomis

In the offseason, he got pissy with someone that called in and said Loomis was horrible. Bobby said Loomis is a hall of fame gm abd the caller was an idiot and doesn’t know football lol.

I learned here on Saints Talk years ago that Loomis is just a bean counter. He handles the salary cap. Loomis has nothing to do with selecting player personnel.

Of course I heard that.
I plan my Sundays around watching the Saints and listening to the postmortem on the radio.
He questioned the people whose job it is to accumulate the players on this team.

Loomis?? If left to his discretion Dennis Allen would be coaching and we would be well on our way to a 5 win season.
I mean it’s not just on him. No true leader at the helm. I hope KM can be strong enough to emerge and become the leader. Gotta be more than a coach to win with this organization.

It’s ironic that the first Saints player to publicly call out Mickey Loomis in any way & the guy who first called him a “bean counter” was Kyle Turley back around 2002. He was right back then. Loomis got lucky with Payton & Brees & has been coasting ever since.
