The criteria on wins(.600 to .595) was changed to make Mike Leach eligible for the HOF, that change also benefited Les Miles and Jackie Sherill. Miles deserves to enter the Hall before Leach.

The first thing the new AD needs to do is unvacate the wins vacated because of Vadal Alexander then recognize the 1908 National Champions.

I’m tired of those on this board who say he doesn’t deserve to be in the HOF. Of course he does.

Only if he gives credit for his national championship to Nick and Matt Flynn and all the other guys Saban recruited and coached up for this to happen. That team didn't even need him on the sidelines and would have won it.

Neither deserve the HOF, IMO.

Created the modern air raid offense along with Hal Mumme and also made Texas Tech, Washington State, and Mississippi State all relevant while head coach at each school.

Crazy how .595 qualifies one to get in.

Respectfully, Leach and Miles deserve to go in the Special Ed HOF at most. Miles gets the nod for the natty, but otherwise nothing to write home about. Do y’all not remember the bullshite every single weekend we gave him a pass for because we had good line play and a usually killer D? Don’t miss those ‘cardiac cat’ days much, although there was always a chance for a trick play

LSU is not kind to HC's who delivered a National Championship. I like Les Miles. Sure he was a little goofy at times but that what's made him so entertaining. His clock management could have been better, but a Les Miles team was always ready to play, except when they played Bama.

LSU - a damn strong football team.

considering almost every college and or team in America is running an offense designed around concepts he helped create?

I think time has skewed your memory. His teams routinely played down to competition.

THIS.

One of the reasons I shed no tears for Woodward - he rolled over for the NCAA and accepted absurd punishment for ubiquitous infractions.

Les deserves it. He deserved to go but he brought us a lot of good years. Winning a title is a lot of luck and outside of Saban no one will have a run 7 titles.

And after the last four years, at least miles teams were tough.

Yes. Because he had the temerity to coach here and win 80% of his games. He had the temerity to win a National Championship here and play for another one. He had the temerity to do all this without being from the south, without talking, walking and "thinking" like us.

Tapping out underage girls seems to be the new paradigm for peeps in powerful positions. Miles was once the leader in the clubhouse... allegedly.
