Coaching the Dallas Renegades now having just won a Championship with them in 2023! He fills in all the blanks. Great eye for talent not only in players but he has a great ability to develop coaches under him.

He waxed Saban’s arse at OU at the height of Saban’s career

IMO, if there is no HR hire surfacing, I would consider making a "bridge" hire. Someone you'd expect to coach 2-4 years until that right candidate is available. That's effectively what a Saban or Urban hire would be. Stoops is in that same category.

I'd be ok with that.

FTR, Stoops had a heckuva record at OU.

His time has come and gone. He seems to be fine coaching UFL and meddling in OU’s program.

Spot on. If we can get someone like Stoops great but my source tells me an offer is on the table for Saban but if he doesn’t take it or Stoops ain’t interested I really like the Idea of Frank Wilson.

UFL works perfectly for him. He wanted out of the daily nonstop grind of college football. He said he did not want to end up like his Dad who died on the field.

UFL in March- June and then pretty quiet until early February
