Sorry, i just don't see that happening. Anything is possible I guess, but I have my doubts.

Of course it isn’t happening. People will downvote this but there is no chance Saban returns to LSU in any capacity.

Saban's ship has sailed. He got out of the business at the right time. The changes in the football landscape, not to mention advancing age, have made it much less desirable for him to FAFO.

Saban left Alabama because he couldn't and didn't want to handle the NIL and Transfer portal that has ruined college football. I don't see anyway he would return at his age.

First off, I’d say there’s less than a 10% chance of it happening as HC and not much more of a % for AD. Just my opinion based on his age and he seems to enjoy the analyst position he’s in.
Also, when he got out of coaching people were saying “now that the playing field is level he’s stepping down because he doesn’t have the roster advantage he once had”. May have some merit here, I believe he was truly disgusted with the number of players that walked into his office the day after they lost to Michigan and asked about their increase. But I bet he’s heard the doubters saying he couldn’t win with equal rosters. A little fire being lit.
One thing about GOAT’s, they have a drive to win. To be the best. Saban is a process driven maniac. He obviously loves being around football still and discussing it, but being away a couple of years maybe the fire is burning. Age aside, he’s a relatively healthy guy. MJ retired and came back and won 3 more in a row. Tiger was all but discounted and won the Masters. Saban has always said LSU meant a lot to him and his wife. Maybe if the itch is there, and to disprove the doubters when he retired, he comes here to scratch it a few years now that he’s had time to reset and evaluate how NIL and the portal are operating.
Again, very unlikely, but I wouldn’t say impossible.
