All the talking heads don’t know squat

Regardless who it is, Jordan Rogers, Paul Finebaum, Herbstreit, whoever, do not know jack. Pay them no mind. LSU fired a coach and an AD. It happens. Heather Dinich knows nothing either. Her reporting today was bogus. LSU board never said the next coach needed to have ties to Louisiana. That is not what they said in PC. This is not a mess. It’s a damn coaching change and an AD change. Happens all the time. They just can’t believe LSU had the balls to fire a big time named coach 4 years into a 10 year deal and paid the buyout. Florida did similar, Arkansas let a coach hang for too long, James Franklin hit a wall years ago. LSU wasn’t willing to do that. This is not a mess. It’s a big program not willing to watch teams just pass us by and be happy with it.

Nobody actually believes him about Saban. That guy just throws shite at the wall in hopes that it sticks. Maybe we’ll frick it up, maybe we wont. The national media hates the Gov because he’s a Republican. Does he bring it on himself… sure. We’re a red state with an out spoken Republican Gov that sounds funny to them. At the end of the day our Football program was burning and our Men’s basketball program already was burnt to the ground. Someone needs to be held accountable for that. Like it or not those are the only two sports that generate money.

It would be a melt but he would be 76 when LSU got turned around. They have more money than they can spend now so I would be shocked. The same NIL and portal crap is still hanging around that caused him to get out of the sport. If anything, it is worse than it was when he retired.
Plus he is probably making in excess of 10Mil now with what the U is paying him, ESPN, and all the TV ads he is doing. And he gets to enjoy as many Lil Deb's with his morning coffee and play golf numerous times a week. Does anyone with half a brain thinks he is going to be back into the 80 plus hour a week job of coaching a P4 team?

I have seen things happen I never expected, like poaching a sitting coach from ND and him crapping the bed at LSU. But I do not expect it to be Saban, even though I would love it.

Only real issue with that is Landry is Landry and makes everything into a spectacle. Any other governor doing what he’s doing wouldn’t be nearly as big a deal. His concern is making sure the next contract doesn’t leave the taxpayer on the hook like Kelly’s could have if a donor hadn’t stepped up. It’s easy to forget these guys are technically state employees and their contracts are with state owned entities. I sure as hell don’t want my taxes going to shite like BK’s buyout. Enough ridiculous shite is done with my tax money already.

You do realize the money for Kelly going forward really is not "there".......yet. That big donor could say, "Gee, sorry, I'm sorry footing this bill" and then LSU would be in a precarious situation
