Worry not, here is what you dont know

Believe what I say or dont, I dont care.
We are going to be just fine. We have a donor, not Chicken Man, that is worth north of 5 billion dollars and he loves the Tigers. Willing to pay the buyout for Kelly and Woody. The BOS is ready to offer Saban up to $14 million per for 5 yrs with a $30 million yearly budget in NIL. That will be for any coach that we hire but it will start with Nick. Its unlikely that UF or OM can match that for Lane.
Woody did himself in. There is alot more going on with him behind the scenes that will not make it out due to gag orders. Particularly regarding Coach O and B. Davis.
We have much deeper pockets that you think and no tax payers will feel the financial strain, no matter what Landy is or isnt aware of.
Rouse will be named President any day now as well

I don’t understand why people are so upset about Woody being fired. The people that spend all of the money on these buyouts and NIL budgets wanted him gone. They wanted to fire MM. So they could hire Will Wade and Woody told them no. Then they wanted to fire BK and Woody told them no again. So they went to the one person that could get it done in Landry. You keep standing in the way and eventually you are going to be removed. It’s too bad but that was always going to be how that went.

This is the path forward
No the sky is not falling and all of this has been covered with potential hires or their agents. LSU is too big a brand for this to overshadow what being the LSU coach means to any potential coach and the college football landscape. We will be much better than we were in a quicker time than most would think

I think most of us are upset with the method and not the end result. The last few days have been embarrassing for LSU. The whole point of firing a bad coach is because you are tired of embarrassment. We had about three days where everyone was talking up how great LSU was and it got undermined by a guy who does not have and has never had LSU’s best interests at heart. Woodward made costly mistakes and that gets you fired in big business, but he cares about LSU, did good things here, and should have been given a more dignified exit.
LSU has such a great brand but it really feels like we can never get out of our own way, the soap opera aspect is getting so tiresome to me.

At least he is a president of a university. Tate had no presidential experience. Tate was the first presidential hire that didn’t have any experience as a president since a hire was made in the 1970s.

I do get that part of it. He has done way more press than I would have expected. Hopefully now that Scott is gone that will be the last we hear from Landry on the matter.

It’s because the governor ran his mouth and painted everyone into a corner. Now it looks terrible. If he has kept his mouth shut this wouldn’t have been a national story.
