I’m flying out in two weeks. The website is kind of wishy-washy.

I have the plate, the rating, the form from the VA. What else do I need?

All you need is the form filled out and stamped. Show it to the parking attendant at the kiosk when you leave the parking garage.

So you aren’t too disabled to walk around garage sales all day, but you’re too disabled to use a regular parking lot?

I will not park in a handicap parking spot, but I did get this license for this exact reason, free parking at New Orleans airport. That’s saving me about $150 per trip.

This plate does allow me to park in handicap parking spots, but I will not do it.

Some integrity.

Maybe a combat vet could use that spot.

I’m not using a handicapped spot, and how do you know if I’m a combat veteran or not?

This plate allows me to park anywhere in NO airport for free, not a handicapped spot.

No, it’s just free parking for rated disabled veterans. Like I said before, I will never park in a handicapped spot (or at least not until I’m old and feeble and need it).

I don’t even park in the “Veteran’s Parking Only” (no plates needed) at Lowe’s. I feel someone else needs it more than me.
