I don’t really have an opinion on Kirk one way or another, but regardless Landry knew what he was doing with his statue comment.
The guy ain’t from here, why does he need a statue on campus? Put that shite somewhere else.

Dumb on her part, but she probably knows nothing about him other than what’s on her twitter feed. I don’t think he should have a statue either, but not the same reasoning.

Yeah I am huge charlie fan and a statue on campus makes no sense. But it just shows how ignorant she is with her view of Charlie

I actually don't doubt you, but if true, that's incredible disappointing, because it's yet another player being unnecessarily divisive.
I just checked and saw it was even covered on TMZ. That's incredibly disappointing.
I don't think LSU needs a Kirk statue, but I really regret she thinks his beliefs are racist towards black people. Goodness.
I really thought she was better than this and she chose to alienate half her fans. I saw on her X that someone said she lost a fan and her response was simply, "bye." Sad stuff. She even turned off the ability to comment.
So disappointing. My interest will be probably be a little less in the women's basketball now.

Do they ever say exactly what makes the Kirk rhetoric racist? I find it fascinating that someone wanting to have a tame and intellectual conversation, racist. Like Kirk stated, this is how wars, divorce and violence happens. When we stop talking, bad things happen.
