“Wasn’t aware that Tucker despises me. I do get that a lot from people not familiar with the Bible or history,” Huckabee, the former governor of Arkansas, responded on X. “Somehow, I will survive the animosity.”

I really do believe that he's a good man. But he is most definitely ate up with the hyper-zionist mentality. There's a marked and prominent difference between supporting the people of Israel as opposed to unquestionably supporting what appears to be a warmongering and wholly secular Israeli government.

The New Testament did not override the Abrahamic Covenant, which was an "everlasting" covenant. It replaced the Mosaic covenant, which included sacrifices for atonement. If the New Testament were meant to replace everything in the Old Testament, then should we no longer follow the Ten Commandments?
The Jews being chosen did not mean that they were anymore guaranteed of salvation than any of the rest of us. They were chosen as a people by which God would use for His purposes. In order to be saved, they still have to believe. We are all part of God's people as believers, but we are not Israel, and have not replaced them. We were grafted in. If you know the New Testament, you know that Paul said as much. And you would also know that Paul, addressing whether God had rejected the Jews, said "certainly not". After all, Jesus was a Jew. Paul and almost all of the apostles were Jews. Christianity spread from the Jews. And Paul mentions, also, about the salvation of Israel in the future. They will play a huge part in end time prophecy.
And being a "Zionist", by definition, simply means that you believe that the Jews have a right to exist in their homeland of Israel. Somehow, people have twisted that word into a slur to condemn people as some sort of worshipers of Israel. That is simply not what it means, and not what any of us are about. I believe God's word, and that He still has a plan for Israel, as is clearly shown in scripture. I can call out any bad deeds, without blaming all of the worlds problems on the Jews, by having blind hatred towards them, such as the likes of Candace Owens, Tucker Carlson and Nick Fuentes.

Replace Israel with America, and tell me how much you hate the United States. All I see is a bunch of hypocrites in America, because if that happened to us we would have done the same, and these people would have supported it, how do I know?
