Would Sean Payton still be here if he didn't get married?

To this day, I blame that broad for not wanting to live in new orleans.

I remember a picture or a video when Sean drove miss benson home from the airport after the playoff game. From that point on, I knew who was running this franchise the whole time.

This has to be the worst time for sports in south louisiana. I really wish somebody would buy both franchises, but would keep them in louisiana or the GulfCoast i'm tired of watching and spending my time on sports right now. I think i'm a start dusting off my rod.And going fishing.

Blame Winston lol. CSP tried and when that experiment failed he turned traitor and reached out to another team behind everyone's back.

And in the South how do you not hook up with a 'Skylene'.

Payton ran his course in New Orleans
if not for his suspension, I bet he would have moved on long before

I've always thought CSPs relationship with the Saints (The Benson Organization) was damaged beyond repair when CSP was made the fall guy for the whole fake bounty gate fiasco and subsequently suspended for the entire 2012 season and Benson seemed to just roll over and take it and not fight tooth and nail for him even after it was proven that several other teams did the same thing which wasn't even as bad as they claimed.

He’d still be here today if he drafted Lamar instead of two firsts Davenport

Or if he didn’t tell everyone how much he loved Mahomes leading KC to jump us for him

No, the reports were out there that he considered leaving/retiring several times before. She was just the excuse used by the local media and fanbase

If you are going to blame Winston, then shouldn't that attention actually fall on Devin White's horsecollar? Winston had the team rolling to 4-2 when that injury happened. Everything fell apart after that

Yea, everyone acts like Jameis was the next franchise QB (I love Jameis as a character)…..but SP had the reigns pulled in on him tremendously! The defense was winning games, and the offense was limited (much like the offense with Rattler). CSP knew that if he opened up the offense with Jameis….you would see turnovers much like what happened with Spencer when they tried to push.

Nah i think you could tell by the end of ‘21 that he was fed up with the direction things were going and needed a break. Too much Loomising finally came home to roost.

He tried to leave at the end of 2016 for the rams job. He tried to leave for the dolphins in 2020 or whenever.

He’s just a gigantic ego that thinks he needs to follow the parcells model

The offense was limited with Jameis to an extent to cut down on his turnovers but he was still able to push the ball down the field. It just wasn't every other pass like in Tampa. To the schlacking that we put on Green Bay? That was all Jameis
