How would we feel about him at LSU? He develops his talent. At least has them in the conversation for the conference championship, was one game from the CFP last year. Well liked by his players and fans. Makes just over $5 mill so we could get him a little cheaper. He has another big time D1 school to recruit against, and does not have the recruiting base up here as he would at LSU. Downfalls are he can sometimes pull a James Franklin and not win the one to get them over the hump, like last year’s Big 12 championship.

He's a name I've thrown around for the Arkansas job. Solid coach.
Is he a culture fit? Maybe not.... but does he win? Yes. And he develops talent.

Seems to want to go the route of Ferentz, just stack up winning seasons and the fan base will be happy with you.

Just a single double digit win season in his 15 years as a head coach.
That’s going to be a hard sell to our fan base.
