Joe Brady and the current structure

I have no idea if Brady is interested or not. I know that he "alledgedly" hated recruiting. So with today's NIL-driven recruiting largely handled by front office guys like Thomas and staff, How much actual "boots-on-the-ground" recruiting would he actually have to do?
Again, I'm only curious about how different the process is now vs when he was here and if potentially the difference would sway him to consider it?

The question is, do we want Brady? His NFL career hasn’t exactly taken off, and if you talk to or see Bills fans, they all hate him

Joe Brady isn’t an option.

Not a lot of correlation between NFL and NCAA success.

Dude, John Brady IS NOT and WILL NOT be the next LSU head coach. He isn't even on the list of potentials.

Don’t want.
All of his success has been reliant on generational QBs… Brees at Saints, Burrow at LSU, Allen at Bills.
Can he do it with a no-name talented college kid who needs lots of guidance? Probably so, but do you want to risk that?

He doesn’t want to coach college

Yeah but its a bad look when your only year of major success is when you had to be babysat by Steve Ensminger

He fits several criteria:
1-young and relentless
2-can lock down 1 side of the ball
3-currenlty beloved by the LSU fanbase(subject to change...fast
)
4-highly connected for a young coach and should be able to bring in excellent staff

Why?
He is bad at his job
Has been at all of his coordinator jobs
His involvement in 2019 lsu offense has been way overblown, he was not the coordinator, not the play caller

So, that's what we're calling it now?

even with guys like Austin Thomas and NIL, you still have to do plenty pf in-person scouting and recruiting. If you're competing with a bunch of schools with similar NIL offers, old school recruiting nuances are still important. In the NFL, you have the draft where you're slotted into a specific spot. Player goes where he is drafted. Then you have trades and free agency. Coaches surely get some input, but the GM/owner handles most of that. Assembling the football team is still handled by the HC at the college level. And then there's all the other political bullshite and year-round aspect of the job that simply isn't the case in the NFL.

I'm not saying he wants the job, but the front page article on TD proves this statement wrong.

Joe has his eyes set on an NFL head coaching job & if I recall correctly wasn’t a fan of recruiting. Move on.

Steve Ensminger was the play caller. There is no debate about that and never has been. When Joe Brady actually has called plays in the NFL it has not been great.

I was asking a general question discuss how an "NFL guy" might better fit the new model in CFB. Did I say I wanted him as the next coach?

Again, I repeat… where do you morons actually come from?
NFL 2025
Bills:
2nd in total yards
1st in rushing yards
4th in points scored
