we haven't had a good Oline since early in Miles tenure. We need that aggressive meanness of Mawae. If I remember right, Bill Parcels said of Mawae, if he got in an alley fight he'd want Mawae to be on his side.
guy was all-pro so he should know something. He's a Tiger!

I’d prefer someone with a little bit more proven success coaching OL in college

First call should be Sam Pittman as the OL coach.

Kevin Mawae (allegedly) ratted out Arizona State for recruiting violations after he didn’t get their OL coach job.
No thanks

Mawae couldn’t handle coaching high school ball and hasn’t coached in a few years. I’d look at Ben Wilkerson if you want a former lsu player

Whomever it is we need to nail this hire. A lot of FR/redshirt FR are in the 2 deep. Let’s coach them up

stop with that nonsense. KM knows more about excellent OLine play than any OL coach ever at LSU. The guy was an NFL HOF for heaven's sake.
He could just sit down in a living room with a father and oline recruit and talk football like they have never heard and tell them he can teach them what it takes to play in the NFL at a high level. LSU has never had a oline coach that could do that. Coaching a position is teaching the players what the coach knows. Do you for a second think Davis knows more about Oline football than KM? Not a chance in the world.
The question is, will KM take the job just like Kyle Williams did. We need KM probably more than any other position coach out there. This isn't a close call.
