Frank Wilson is absolutely the most qualified assistant on the staff to be interim head coach.
Since Sloan is also fired, your other choice would be Baker who has never been a head coach in college.

Thats not his fault. Sloan called games 60/40. By halftime of the TAMU game it was 33/66 run/pass and then he quit calling run plays.
Cole Cubelic has been saying this since the summer. You have to CALL run plays and stick to it to be able to complain about lack of ability.

Not sure it is his fault that we called 1 run play for Berry in the 2nd half. The run coordinator title is something he got for a pay bump. He wasn't the OC. He won't be the OC next year.

Berry was getting 7 yards a carry until they decided to stop calling running plays. Or when they called a running play, it was some stupid misdirection to Johnson or Thomas.

They just needed someone who has experience calling plays, that’s probably the only reason why Atkins got promoted to OC.
ETA: we no longer have aspirations of making the playoffs this year, they are just trying to limp to the finish line
