LSU football was 4-0 on the morning of September 27th

And was ranked #3 in the nation.
29 days later on October 26th, the head coach was fired.
Might be a record for a coach's quickest downfall other than because of a scandal or criminal offense.
We could all see that the 4-0 start was not what it seemed to be, but I don't think we expected this.

I was thinking about this earlier. From an undefeated top 5 team to fired in less than 30 days.

Franklin did it in 3 weeks, while losing to UCLA and Northwestern.

I saw it. That record was based on barely beating two terrible teams (neither Clemson nor Florida are even receiving votes) and two rent-a-wins. It was all smoke and mirrors. Pretty much the whole country was shorting LSU stock!
