He’s in a great organization now and is showing out. Ex-players on X hyping him. We need a young guy. These old dicks Like Kelly are worthless

Spare me the “no experience” bullshite. We will have to take a chance just like we did when we hired Kelly and O.

I can’t even begin to tell you how risky that’d hire would be.

Why wouldn’t he want to stay and become an NFL head coach?

The dude is a defensive coordinator in the NFL. He's one step away from being as head. Doubt he's going to drop that for.a college job.

Can’t imagine he’d leave the NFL ranks for college.

He's in his first year as a DC. We wouldn't get hired at ULL with that resume much less LSU.

He could keep the current D staff and tighten it up.

Then hire a dynamic OC.

I’m not worried about this bullshite anymore. Kelly was a “sure thing”. Who is these days? You’re gonna have to take a chance AND get someone who will work for the 2nd contract. I’m tired of being these asshats’ retirement plan

Agreed. Not sure how risky a hire can be when you're willing to pay $50m buyouts.

Sheppard is in his first year as a DC. How did that work out Mayo and Pierce? I’ll help you, fired after their first year. Raiders still suck but the Patriots are rolling right now with Vrabel.
