Venezuela seems like an odd choice to start military action.
Mexico is the nearest narco state. We hate a border with them.

They work for the CIA so they are the US governments drug dealers. The drugs coming through Venezuela are from Chinese cartel and the CIA is not getting their cut.

I'm sure we have prepared. But it seems boats are the target right now. If Mexico wants to sent a boat I'm sure we will pay them a visit.

As rhis has already been explained, or what some sober mined folks believe to be the case, it's not about the war on drugs...... Trump's actions are about demonstrating a show of force to China and the Islamist to stop fricking around in our hemisphere. Same goes for the aid to Argentina, we need allies in South America. Very similar to the reason we support Israel in the ME.
We'll see the cartels in Mexico be the focus of attention before the next 3 years are up. It's not only the Mexican cartels, but the system that allows them to operate.
Trump has intel that none of us can even imagine. Personally, I trust Trump to make the best moves for our nation and hemisphere.

Meh, I don't consider Trump the deep state. I understand your lack of trust in the federal government, but I have faith in my vote for Trump.
