Sort of a spinoff of the hobby thread, and at the forefront with today’s gambling news…
Mafia history has long fascinated me. The movies, documentaries, etc. I stay focused on the past stuff, that way I’m not a target for a South Texas hit.
I also find the NY subway system, bridges, and historical buildings and structures to be interesting.
Mind you, that’s in addition to sports.

Cars, and the Old West.
For a few years, everything I read was on cancer research, treatment, and medications.

WW2 and conspiracy stuff (9/11, Ancient Egypt, etc.)
Not that I believe ALL the conspiracy stuff, but I do find a lot of it fascinating.

I’d really like to get more into WW2, especially since my grandfathers served. Unfortunately, I was too young to talk to them about their journey.

Something the movies always portray the wrong way.
The purpose of strict Omerta is not because you should never ever speak to cops. It's to not let anyone know you have any connection, so you can handle things yourself and not have it traced back to the family.

Conspiracy theories. I dont think the average adult realizes how many of them are true. NOT ALL, but way more than half are true

Mostly those involving our own government.

That’s in the blind spot of my history knowledge. I’ll eventually do a deep dive, but I currently know very little about that topic or era.
