I want to like him. He’s a freak, he’s seems like a good kid. Bought a big lego set with his first paycheck which is awesome

But I generally hate the spurs and foreign players.

He seems like a good kid. I hitched my wagon to him before he entered the NBA. Here’s hoping he stays healthy. With his body and play style, I don’t know.

Hot take but it wasn’t even fun to watch bc of how freakish he is looked like those videos of a middle schooler who had a growth spurt early and is 6 feet dunking on 4 feet tall 6th graders

Yeah it feels like there's a high probability his career ends up derailed by injuries. The human body isn't meant to be that large and move like that.

Chet is a smaller version and has already had two very serious injuries. Just poor biomechanics

He’ll have a 5-6 year prime run that will be unbelievable….but will break down pretty quickly

We’ll see. Hopefully he can avoid the foot and lower body issues that plague big men.

His mindset is impressive. Most guys that naturally gifted would already be coasting yet this guy turns his phone off at 9pm so he can read, spends offseasons in china training with monks, working out with Hakeem. And you can still catch him around town moving like a normal person.

40/15 on AD, one of the best defensive big men of this generation.

Wemby is absolutely insane. I don't think it's even a stretch at this point to say that he has GOAT potential.

There is a 0% chance he can stay healthy long enough to become the GOAT or even enter the debate.

Y'all do realize there are only 3 players ever who are 7'3" who made the NBA hall of fame right?

Yao Ming, Ralph Sampson, & Arvydas Sabonis

What do they all have in common? Amazing early careers that were cut far too short due to injuries.

Yao made the HoF because of China, Sampson made it from his college dominance, and Sabonis made it because of his European dominance.
