Most everything whether cheap or expensive, is manufactured in China.

Yeah, it was the tariffs, not the stale brand, lack of advertising, and products geared towards the elderly. It was those damned tariffs...

They do. It's just "better" Chinese crap than the usual Chinese crap...so they can charge more for it.

This is just another business adapting to the fact brick and mortar stores are no longer profitable in the internet age. Only here they get to throw in a dose of virtue signaling as the "reason" for taking an action there were going to take anyway because of market factors that have nothing to do with tariffs.

Vietnam and Turkiye are both major hubs for high-quality, premium clothing production, as they offer skilled labour and good manufacturing infrastructure. While Italy and France still dominate the luxury segment, many mid-range to higher-end brands get their clothes made in places like Vietnam and Turkey.

Happy to get you sussed, mate

It's overpriced. I'd rather go to REI than cosplay as a fly fisherman

Not to mention president of the company Simon Perkins is a true blue Vermonter who is been outspoken for all things left leaning. Yeah, let's blame the tariffs.

So their margins are that low that tariffs that aren't solidified and influx are causing them to close stores? It's not anything else. Just tariffs.

They are scaling back to focus on fly fishing and upland hunting rather than be a clothing brand that also does fly fishing.
