How can someone pick LSU Saturday?

Against Vandy and it be a legitimate choice?
For anyone to actually say after the game Saturday, "great game LSU", "Big victory", that would 100% have to mean LSU somehow has turned the corner as a team. Can we even say this is possible? We have seen the same crippled offense pretty much since week one. We see glimpses of greatness then its gone again.
We have one staple and that we got some personnel on "defense" that can keep us close and an okay kicker.
Its to late for if this or if that happens on offense we can blah blah. Either we have or we don't. How can anyone bank on a victory Saturday if we play the same as we have been?
Vandy is pretty good man with a pretty good qb.

It will be a close game. Just gotta hope this is one that falls our way. Didn't think I'd ever say that about Vandy.

How can we actually bank on winning this game pretty much based on the season thus far.

Because when you evaluate other teams, you look at how good they are. When you evaluate your own team, you look at how good they could be.

The line is pretty even. If you feel that strongly about it, you can put all of your mortgage money on Vanderbilt.

For me it comes down to the offense. We moved the ball Saturday, but we have a history of shooting ourselves in the foot. I think we will pull out a win, but my confidence is not high. I’m not going to lose money on LSU

I'll use if. If we win that would have to mean we have turned the corner. LSU will not win with sloppy play and win like much of the season has been nothing but. Vandy is at home and they are hungry. They are a different team and play very different from LSU.
