Is a liability in run blocking…. We badly miss a traditional run blocking tight end. He missed tons of blocks . Hell he didn’t even chip block good lol . Wish we still had Markway bottom line is he does not need to be lead blocking in our run game we gotta find someone else if we wanna do that . Also doesn’t help Cade miss reads blocks a lot !!!

Referring to what Sharp does as "blocking" is an insult to actual blocking.

Agree but lsu has him lead blocking on a lot of plays Saturday for whatever reason. He almost tripped Cade up on a good run by being to slow

The title made me think there was going to be an image or vid of him actually blocking and I was ready to be stunned.

Every week he gets destroyed. The lack of adjustment is coaching malpractice. He’s either getting his arse kicked, soft walking through the running lane as a “lead” blocker, or dropping a pass.

Trey’Dez is a better blocker, which really makes him superior in every facet of the game…

Just go watch the game and watch the run plays lol . The zone split we run 90% of the time is awful . Sharp is always late and just completely whiffs on his blocks .

Bo Bordelon is the guy who can fill that gap, 6'6" 305 lbs. He has played in that 3rd TE heavy formation. He could get more snaps and maybe even throw him a pass to keep the D honest about his presence in the game.

I'd rather just give more playing time to Donovan Green who's been an excellent blocker and showed very good hands vs Southeastern.

No idea what the big deal is about sharp.

He’s slow, he fumbles, he can’t block. Not sure why he was rated so high coming out the portal.

He's straight up sucked and is a liability in all aspects. Nic Anderson can't do anything well either. Im good not taking another Oklahoma dude for quite a while. Those two have been by far most disappointing portal guys. Josh Thompson all big ten my arse right behind them.

No we don’t. We just need play him more. Donovan Green is a legit blocking TE.

This is the obvious answer. But, we will ever make that adjustment.

Which is good and bad. It makes us less predictable with personnel, but he is way too gifted as a pass catcher and a mismatch pretty much anywhere to be tied up blocking when he’s on the field.
