is volvo named after vulva

No, Volvo is not named after vulva; the name comes from the Latin verb "volvere," meaning "to roll". Conjugated into the first person, "volvo" means "I roll," which was chosen to symbolize movement and was first used for a subsidiary of a ball bearing manufacturer before being applied to the car company. While both words share the same Latin root, their meanings are unrelated.
Latin root: Both "Volvo" and "vulva" share the Latin verb volvere, which means "to turn, twist, or roll".
Volvo meaning: The name "Volvo" comes from the first-person singular conjugation of volvere, meaning "I roll". It was originally intended for a ball bearing company because the product had to roll.
Vulva meaning: The word "vulva" also comes from the Latin root volvere but refers to a different, though related, concept of a turning or opening.
No connection to the car brand: The creators of the Volvo car company chose the name for its association with movement and rolling, not for any connection to the word "vulva".

Wait, it’s from the exact same Latin root word but it’s a different meaning?

I think we can all agree it’s possible it has a double meaning?

Hell even in the answer it states:

To all you Volvo lovers out there!

I'm going to start calling it a volvere. Sounds more sophisticated.

Either way you probably want to maintain them both properly for a good ride.

Volvo engineers were clear you can smash it and it’s going to be alright.

Those sobs were always smashing the Volvos.

Very spacious and accommodating, too, on the inside.
