They have completely hit rock bottom showing people do Excel tasks on a sports channel.

That channel has turned into a real life ocho, with the exception of the hour or so a week that it has the start of games due to the other game not being complete.

I wondered where these guys were Saturday night when I needed to create a PowerPoint slide with data from an updating Excel spreadsheet where I would type in updated numbers and the slides would change automatically while running a show. It might not be something PowerPoint does but from a function within Excel or other database software.
I wish the LA SOS made it easier to scrub data from. I yearn for the days when it was a text table and separate pages and you could pull cell data from it. Now the website is graphical and pages are dynamic so no data linking. The issue back then was the site would crash on big election nights as it wasn’t designed for the load of traffic which is why it is now different.
A few years ago when I inquired, I found out they do have a secured database invited users can access and download updated XML files (media and other election watchers), but it takes some coding and database work to get it working as you have a file with the races and candidates in one file and a new file that gets uploaded every minute with just the results and codes referred to in the other XML file that has to then be translated into your database with the master file. It was a little too complicated for my tastes and needs.
