I'm not fan of anything they stand for

But has anyone else tried ben and jerrys "tonight dough" ice cream? Best ice cream ive ever had outside of homemade banana.

They have some terrific flavors, my fave is Cherry Garcia, but I find it very difficult to support them because of their “causes”…

Honestly the only reason I've bought any was because I read an article a while back that said they dont own it anymore , and just recently they've had a gay hissy fit and have nothing to do with it at all.....I liked cherry Garcia and strawberry cheesecake. But tonight dough is a whole different kindve good.

It is hard to take someone seriously when they use “gay hissy fit” as a reason to buy a new ice cream.
They sold the company about 20 or so years ago to Unilever and had a separate board to continue their social activism and Unilever is trying to dismantle it thus the “gay hissy fit” of which none are gay.
That’s a strong choice of words - bold strategies to use in a compliance-based economy.
Just eat the ice cream if it’s good. No need to confuse your self righteousness with relevance. They aren’t interchangeable. I’d believe your integrity seems highly negotiable.

Um….I think you brought this into the thread by the title, original post, and your second response. So….
You seem to have mistaken loudness for authority and spite for conviction. That’s a convenient strategy for someone unwilling to do the harder work-reading, learning, self reflection. Keep yelling. It’s good cover for not becoming anything.
You also mistake cruelty for masculinity, but I can smell the fear it’s trying to cover.

I don’t audition for either side. It is simply ice cream, not ideology. I like it, I buy it pretty much end of story.
What I don’t like is people pretending selective outrage is a moral compass. Watching people demand purity while excusing their own contradictions. Both sides sell morality when it’s convenient. I’m just here for the ice cream. Not the illusion of virtue.
