Peter Flaherty of Baseball America writes:
"LSU is one of very few programs—perhaps the only program—that is flat-out dominant across every facet of the game. Coach Jay Johnson and his staff routinely put together premier portal and recruiting classes and do an outstanding job of developing the talent they bring in. The result? Two national championships in the last three seasons. Johnson has cultivated an environment in which there is an unbelievable amount of success at both the team and individual level, and that figures to continue so long as he’s at the helm."

growing up I didn't really like baseball and hated the dead ball era but now I cannot stop watching highlights throughout the Johnson era and I am more excited for baseball than any other sport

I'm looking forward to Fall scrimmages; I've got to check out the new players. The 2025 team get their rings during the Texas A&M football game so I'm hoping to see some of their parents then. I'll see you at the Box.

Jay is the Saban of baseball.
Workaholic driven to succeed on all facets of the game. We all just have to have complete patience, confidence and trust in Jay during the season as he shuffles the lineup and we occasionally lose a few as he determines what is the best lineup for the post season. He absolutely has earned that and more.
