Currently playing France in our second group match. Match is on FS2.
0-0 at the half, but we've actually controlled more of the flow and had the more attacking chances. Like we look like we belong on the same field with them and not just bunkering for our lives to preserve a point.
Fun to see.

We were the better team all game. France fell apart in the end.
This team is good. We beat Morocco 4-1 and then tied them 0-0 last month and they have already beaten Spain and Brazil to advance to the knockouts.
Of the 16 guys who played today only one did not come through an MLS academy (Wynder). I think each successive age group will raise the floor of our national team.
Not sure how some on this board can’t see how the quality of MLS academy products has improved year over year.

Lost 2-1 today to south Africa, but good news is we are already through to the knockouts

Our round of 16 knockout game will be against Italy on 10-9 at 230 PM CST. If we beat them we probably play Morocco in the quarters, assuming they beat (good) Korea.

1-0 US fifteen minutes in, Cremaschi scores on a corner after a well worked move after a steal in their defensive third
We are carving them apart. We look very, very competent on the ball and in quick passing movements, in a way I haven’t seen from us at this level previously
I really like Raines and Westfield. I believe habroune has good potential as well. And gozo has been killing it in mls lately.

Damn. We are just a significant level above this Italian team these first 20 minutes.
I expect several of these guys make decent career moves off of this tournament

The LB is struggling a lot in this match.

I'm not going to pretend to know if France and Italy sent their best teenagers they could, or if either is actually good, but damn our kids have looked great
