DAT Thread, The Off-season Edition

I've never started daily Astros thread and if the crew will allow it I would like to start this one.
My sauces say that Espada only comes back if he agrees that major staff changes, I'm ok with that.
Not sure how safe Dana is, these days l look up at the stars thinking about James Click.
I also propose the 2026 Team Slogan to be Rub some dirt in it.

I will go on record as saying keep any remnants on the pitching side, esp the behind the scenes guys as we can
We even lost the S&C guy, Chris Martin, to LSU

He’s not Ryno (hopefully), so that’s an overall win in itself. The board wins.

That's not terrible.
But, I prefer: Throw some gasoline on it.

Dragon breathing orange fire into day 1 of the off season.

Between our absence of home runs and him nuking his Twitter to go to bluesky because of Nazis or something, I totally forgot he even existed.

I'm told Sleepy Joe has pitched Joe Sloan to be his offensive coordinator.

It’s time for Joe to go.
I can’t find one compelling trait that he brings to the table.
He pretty much handles the pen via paint by numbers. Fine for most games, but he pretty much never deviates from it.
He insists on batting guys in leverage spots when they’re clearly struggling.
He bases a lot of lineup combinations on defense for a team struggling to score runs.
Doesn’t stick up for his players like he should and should have publicly flogged Framber after the Salazar incident.
I’m just ready to move on from any staff from the Hinch/Dusty years.
Not sure who they’d turn to but I’d take a flyer on Rocco Baldelli who was let go by the Twins today.

I'd certainly ask Correa's opinion on him if I were Crane.

If Espada goes I'd imagine we'll find out how safe Dana is. Either Dama gets to bring in a guy, probably from The Braves or Bagwell still has juice and pushes for Ausmus.
I didn't realize until this weekend that Astros legend Ray Montgomery was interim manager for The Angels.

I'd also like to find a coaching spot for Machete.
