All kinds of hype on the interwebs as this being one of the albums of the year, decade, etc. Cameron Winter continuing his year as the new prince of Indie. This is set up to top a lot of lists in December.

Spent a lot of time with this record over the weekend. And yes it lives up to the hype. Sounds like a lot of classic material and also like nothing I’ve ever heard before at the same time. Another great record from this band that will hopefully be around for a long time to come.

Geese - Taxes

I’ve given it a couple listens. It’s good, but I think 3D Country is easily better.

Their previous albums sucked arse, so I assume this is more of the same.

Ive listened a few times as well, I prefer the variety of the new album over the cohesion of 3D. To each their own.

The new one is very good. It may be one that gets better after each listen - seems to be the case right now. Love seeing new rock bands like this that are still doing some interesting work.

I saw them open for vampire weekend this summer and enjoyed their live show, id like to see a headlining show now though.

I'm sure it's just a result of my algorithm... but holy cow is this album/band/artist getting hype right now. It seems like every other post in my feed is related to Geese in some way. Cillian Murtphy's son has got him listening to them. There's a cult devoted to Cameron Winter. ETc.. etc.. It's disconcerting how many articles I'm seeing on them... and I've only listened to them a few times as well. I feel like the algorithm is trying to make Geese foie gras out of me.

Yeah, same.

I saw Vampire Weekend about a year ago. I've seen them a few times before, but that was about 15 years ago. They really put on a great show today. Very fun.

VW is my family’s favorite band, my daughter, partner and I have seen 6 shows over the last year. Every show was awesome with Philly this summer being the highlight for me with a mini acoustic set in the middle of the show.

Big VW fan as well. I haven’t seen them since the MVOTC tour, but that was fantastic.
