You guys have been begging for the tank for four years. Here it is. Not sure why our draft gurus aren’t enjoying the ride.

People like drunk and TigerSaurus are miserable people who like to bitch.
If we won they’d bitch we aren’t tanking and are messing up our draft position.
If we lose they bitch about how bad the team is.
If we get the first pick they bitch because we tanked in the wrong year.
If we pick a player they bitch because he’s not the generational player they would have picked.
And here I am bitching about their bitching. It’s exhausting.

Don’t care that we are losing but it would be nice for some of these young players to at least show some promise. This rebuild is going to be even harder if all these early picks flop

1. We’re in year 1 of a lonnng rebuild. This roster is really bad. We could be seeing the light at the end of the tunnel had they realized this years ago
2. The man that got us here, will likely continue to call the shots because our owner is a failed interior decorator that has no fricking clue what she’s doing
So yes glad we will likely be drafting in the top 3, but don’t have much faith in the people overseeing it all

Anyone who looked at this roster should have expected this result. What I’m upset about is trading picks for a player for this team. They should be stacking draft picks and trading players.
I’ve been a Saints fan for about 40 years, this might be the worst roster out of those 40. Looks needs to be fired and it needs to happen now.

Everyone wants a rebuild until it’s time to do it.
Rebuilds aren’t fun, and they’re difficult. It turns out there’s a reason teams avoid tanking. Saints talk isn’t prepared for that.

This type of game was bound to happen. Everyone in the media agreed we’d be the worst.
I’m just glad the first two games were competitive and watchable.
Some positives?
Juwan Johnson has been a beast this season. But yeah. He had 2 inexcusable drops so far. I’m just glad he’s playing his arse off still after he got his first pay day. Says a lot about him.
Banks has been dominant but has struggled today though.
Breese looks good.
Carl Granderson has been unblockable but has also disappeared this game
Shaheed is still good.

We suck but there’s no strength on this roster, you’ll need 2-3 good drafts to un frick this thing even if you hit on qb.

The defense can be salvaged in an offseason. The offense is a disaster. We have zero playmakers.

It just makes zero sense. They actually gave brandin cooks 7.75 million real dollars when you already had 2 smallish speedy receivers as your 1 and 2.
They traded a decent pick for vele in a year when they would be picking near the top of the draft.
