The 1 % of the population accountable for 63 % of all violent crime convictions

The Charlie Kirk situation is going to end the momentum we had with the Charlotte murder. People were finally talking about the forbidden topic but now it’s almost out of the news cycle. The girl was still murdered and there will definitely be another one. The situation has to change.

We used to have a 3 strikes and you are out rule. That would solve this problem. The Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska would still be alive. We would not have had the riots and murders from the Floyd protests. Etc. After 3 violent felonies that are separate occurrences lock them up for life. They are not part of society.

A certain demographic of males between the ages of 16-35 are the most dangerous, violent, and unpredictable demographic in America.

I’d prefer it to be 2. And much longer sentences for all violent crime even the first time. Also much different monitoring of any criminals who are young, male, substance abusers.

Prison overcrowding ended that policy. We need a LOT more prison space but everyone is NIMBY and also don't want to pay the costs for construction, maintenance, personnel.
No matter what alternatives we look at though there is always pain before gain.

Eh. We could free up a lot of prison space by dealing with nonviolent offenders in different ways.
Also, with modern tech, we need to overhaul the death penalty. If proven without a doubt multiple sources - dna, video, witnesses, etc- you get 1 year to appeal. On day 366, you get pulled out back and shot in the back of the neck. No more decades of appeals. No more long drawn out process. 365 days.
Obviously this would not be retroactive to current death row, but for new convicts.

We can't fix it. The only thing that works is incarceration until the offender hits late middle age.

Need to really crack down on drug dealers. Anyone caught peddling hard drugs like fentanyl, crack, heroin, etc gets life in prison. These people play a huge part in ruining so many lives, and not just those on the drugs but family members, victims of violence from the addicts, destruction of public property and spaces, etc. time to crack down on drugs and get rid of havens of homeless drug addict criminals that are out and about ruining most cities.

I think I would prefer shorter sentences and harsher conditions.
They could spend all day listening to tapes of liberal Karens talk about there children's band recitals and bad restaurant experiences. We can force them to eat my wife's cooking.
No gym, no tv, no conjugal visits, and no entertainment.
When they get out, they should NEVER want to go back.

A large percentage of the problem is the baby mamas spitting out the future felons.
They are mostly doing what they have been taught by their mamas and their mamas mama.
Having babies for the government assistance is their goal per the gift from LBJ back in the 60`s.
If the cycle can be cut off, there will be a a major decrease in crime.

Phuck that 3 strike crap. You do violent crime that’s it, you do full time. The broken windows theory is more accurate than not, you do minor crimes such as tagging you can learn to pressure wash 8 hrs a week penalty. You take bread and pampers while lifting that tv or Nike shoes you can get 3 hots & cot. I get caught speeding I get a penalty and the pleasure of increased insurance costs not 14 chances to do differently
