These Universities belong to us. They are OUR state schools. Our tax dollars go there, our sons and daughters pay tuition there. We should absolutely demand that the Universities reflect our values

Clemson is basically taking a neutral position of "we support charlie's right to say what he says, and we support other people's (our employees) right to say what they say" which is all fine and dandy if you are a self-funded operation.
