I’m proud of Tyler Robinson’s father for doing the morally & ethically right thing

For turning his son in to authorities and not trying to hide or conceal his crime.
But at the same time, screw his dad for raising a POS son who is capable of committing such a heinous crime. His son was obviously weak and not capable of resisting the brainwashing from the leftist propaganda machine. That says something about his upbringing.

I know many people who did not turn into murderers that changed ALOT once they got to college. Some for good, some for bad.

Pile on if you want, but at some point it stops being justice and just becomes cruelty. His son made his own choices, he made one to turn him in, and the father will live with that pain forever.

Sometimes you can raise them right and they still make that wrong turn. This dude became an adult and decided to make that wrong turn. Not the father's fault in that case that his son decided to turn into a killing pos.

Nah frick that. The dad clearly did the right thing and turned him in. Now I’m sure more about them may come out, good or bad, but by all accounts right now he seems to be a respectable citizen.

i've got a freshman in college this year at a christian school. i've tried to raise him to be a godly man, but his behavior at this point is in God's hands.
my sister and i had the same upbringing. both raised in church and went to the same college.
i'm happily married and in church still and have kids in high school in college.
she's a 250 lb socialist lesbian.

Good for his father, but you want to know what's braver? Turning your son in before he kills somebody. Of all of the shootings done by teens, there would have had to be many, many red flags where parents could have intervened in a number of ways.

I'm sure he did the right thing because it was the right thing but his failure to do the right thing would have put him in prison as well.

Maybe. Sometimes kids go off the rails no matter how good of a parent you are. He had the moral fortitude to do the hard ting and turn him in. That speaks volumes about him than the actions of his child.

Its very unlikely to be the parents fault.
I know a couple who raised two kids. Poured all their love and care into both equally. One is a missionary in the middle east with a family. The other has been divorced 3 times and regularly goes on borderline psychotic left wing rants and berates her parents over perceived injustices in her upbringing.
I know shes full of shite because she was my best friend in high school. Her parents did everything they could for her. She could very easily end up being one of these shooters one day.
Its rarely the parents fault.

His dad not only turned him in, but “secured him” before law enforcement picked him up. I take that to mean he put cuffs on his own kid. I’m sure that broke his heart, but what other choice did he have?
The alternative would be to become an accessory after the fact, risk losing his kid to a suicide by cop, his kid hurting someone else, or a vigilante finding him first. His dad has a wife to whom he made vows and two other kids for whom he is still responsible.

Kid got a 36 on his ACT and a full ride to college and by reports he didn't start falling off the deep end politically until 2 years ago after he had gone through most of college and had been out of the house for a long time.
Genetic mental illness quite commonly materializes between the ages of 18-22. I'm sure he got sucked into the internet and video games, which is sadly all too common, and maybe that exacerbated his mental illness.
I'm sure there is some level of incel here too. Not getting women can really set off people. I'm sure he was nerdy too, based on what we know.

With technology and the fact they allegedly had forensic evidence such as handprints, they would have got him. And anyone who helped. Really had no choice unless he wanted to do some time.
