what kind of tree? can they lay it down or will they have to climb it and take pc by pc? Can they get equipment to it to haul away?

Location on property. Accessible by equipment? How close to structures and utilities will also play a major part in the estimate.

What’s a “30 ft tree stump”? You talking about a tree trunk that is 30ft tall? 30 ft from the road?
Need a lot more info than that…

What a mess of a question.
Somewhere between $500 and $150,000 is my best guess.

A 30ft pine is nothing, that’s like a 6inch diameter pine I can cut in 10 mins.
A 30ft life oak could be mature or it could be just a 8inch trunk with a couple of branches.
A 30ft tree really isn’t that tall. A mature live oak is 40-60 ft and they are usually the shortest of the gulf coast trees with water oaks and pines being taller.

I see posts like the OP's and just shake my head-----and they appear often on this site.
No location, no pertinent information like access to the tree, proximity to structures and utilities, even what kind of tree.
It's a good bit cheaper to cut down a tree in the middle of a large lot with nothing around it as opposed to having to climb or use machinery to reach the top and take it down piece by piece next to a house.

You guys are correct but if I'm being honest inwould have done the same thing. I am not very mechanically inclined and often do not know how to ask the question in the moment. With age ive gotten a lot better at saying I'm an idiot and need help first.

Wow! Great price.
I mean its a 30ft tree...
They potentially could throw a rope up in it and fell in the yard with even cutting a limb on it.
But yeah, getting a tree service out for less than a grand is rare.
