I slept on Zavion Thomas, here for my crow…

I thought for sure he was passed up on the depth chart, figured he would eventually transfer out. His stats Saturday:
1/1 16 yards passing
3 rushes for 26
1 catch for 19
1 punt return for 18
Dude was eveywhere and has earned a lot of trust/respect from the coaches. Doing a little bit of everything for this team. Well done, ZT!

don’t be too hard on yourself. We thought transfer receivers were going to suplant him outside of the return game.

You just haven’t been paying attention. He was our #4 WR last year & two ahead of him no longer on the team.

CH3 looks so apathetic. The guy is always messing up. Hopefully I’m wrong but he can’t get right. I’m ready to see others play more in front of him

I think Zavion is clearly our #3 WR behind Anderson & Brown. After that I’d say it’s Parker, N. Anderson, & Hilton.

Got his arse chewed out again bc we messed up the same play 2x. The one where we got a flag for illegal motion. Then Hilton went out there & lined up incorrectly again on the 2nd try and we had to burn a time out.
At least he didn’t try to jump & catch that ball on 4th & 2

It’s 1 game and Hilton looked great down the stretch in 2024 but no, Saturday was not reassuring if you’re holding CH stock.

It’s game one. Maybe that’s just his m.o. He’s probably just down on himself and he shuts down. Doesn’t mean he’s not a dog or not competitive. We used to dog JD for smiling all the damn time.
As someone said, they played two high safeties and we were playing ball control. Dink and dunk was the name of the game.
Sometimes, being a good decoy is what we need. He opened up the middle of the field for Anderson to attack. He’ll pop off soon. Gotta give credit to Clemson d backfield.

Love chris hilton and he is very dangerous down the field but it’s pretty obvious he is a one trick pony at the position.
He will be very useful when we need it however, ZT can just do more things on the field

I’d like to see more of Parker in place of Hilton. Hilton needs to get his head right… the kid is a 5th year senior, if he hasn’t figured it out yet then it’ll never happen.
