Was the discipline to not hit guys late, or target, or just commit the same stupid plays we used to where we knock a guy out of bounds and draw a 15-yarder.

They were fast, decisive, and smart. Breath of fresh air.

The speed of the entire defense stood out like it hasn’t in a very very long time

The open field tackling by our Defensive backfield is extremely improved

We had more of a reason to talk shite and act cocky than we have in 3 years and we didn’t while dominating.

That’s a great sign of where they’re at mentally.

Concur with all those things. It was a total DEF team effort last night. Do your job at each level and collectively it yielded one heck of a performance against a good team. GREAT to see the detailed box score to see the number of players on DEF that played & contributed. Onward & upward.

We finally have an LSU defense again. It has been many years since we’ve witnessed an LSU defense play like this. Shutting down the run, pressuring the QB, actually covering receivers and tackling in the open field. I couldn’t believe what I was watching but I definitely liked it.

They brought the PAIN… saw a few Clemson players heading to the sidelines after being blasted.. our defensive backs even hit like LBers

I thought the same thing last night. No unnecessary hits on the sidelines… and there were several opportunities to mess up.
