Especially with your backwards hats, goatees, and Oakleys. You're not "hard" or an "alpha" you look like a bellend. Can't wait for this fad to die.
Thank you for your attention on this matter.

It could be worse. They could clock out of work and pound a 6 pack of bud light tall boys like half this board

Not gonna denigrate someone trying to get some exercise and better themselves no matter how ridiculous they look.

I'm in mid 50s. Work a desk job. After years of having fun outside (skiing, hiking running, etc.), my knees aren't what they used to be (there is also a genetic component as my Mom and Uncle had knee replacements in their late 60s early 70s). My doc recommend that as part of my exercise that I consider a weighted vest as it's consider low impact strength training.

Yes, the biggest problem facing America is the over-emphasis on physical fitness and self-improvement.

It would never even occur to me for this to bother me

You need to look into kneesovertoesguy on youtube and slowly implement your regiment. You can make progress and get back to baseline with some work.

This bothered you so much you had to come here and start a thread about it?
Dude, firstly, do you think you might be reading way more in to these people than is there? This might be saying a while lot more about you than “them”
B: how big a fatty fat fat are ya?

If they’re not bothering you, who gives a frick?
My beef is the people who want to randomly talk to you on a walk/hike when you’re clearly trying to just enjoy the peace and quiet. And to make it worse, want to have political conversation of all things. I just want to not people.

More than likely they are avid hikers. Friends of ours do this to train for an upcoming hiking trip.

A visual aid to illustrate helps this thread-

Ruking has become pretty popular among middle aged women recently. A lot of folks are picking it up. For older women you’re better off just lifting though if you’re trying to keep up bone density.

Why would anyone give a crap if someone walks with a weighted vest? Or cap backward?
