I knew after Trump’s speech in Mobile that people in this country were ready for change and hungry for a different kind of politics.

For the first time in my adult life, I was proud of my country because it felt like hope was finally making a comeback.

It gives me great pleasure to recall this moment - only wish we could have been there.

I actually remember it. The only negative was that the little snake Sessions was there, too.I think he may have even introduced Trump that night.

If nothing else, Sessions was the first serious elected official to endorse Trump. That made it clear to everyone that Trump was serious.

Her feelings were strictly based on race. And most likely just bullshite.

Ask her if she’s proud now her husband she hates is no longer president.

The dems, media, and pretend intellectuals had no idea what was happening in July-August 2015. They were completely blindsided by the support Trump received.

Has anyone seen or heard from him since PDJT - 1?

Everyone else that was fired or resigned during PDJT are on the news shows and/or wrote books for financial gain.

Not so much Trust Sessions as I laugh as well.
However, where the hell is Sessions?

The Obama’s attended church where the pastor loudly proclaimed “God Damn America”.

You will have to show me where Michelle Obama said, “Always be proud of America”

I’ll never forget that. I watched with my maternal grandpa, and my father and mother in Florida visiting my grandpa. Now my Dad and Grandpa have since passed away. We also watched together the Rosie O’Donnell remark…. The funniest debate moment of all time and all 3 generations ther got the joke and laughed hard.

I remember when Trump gave Sessions a MAGA cap. Sessions showed a slight hesitancy before he donned it. It showed me that he was gauging the effect this could have on his career. It was not the decisiveness of a leader.

Sessions was a dud as AG. Yet apparently Sessions harbors no lasting ill-will towards Trump:

Jeff Sessions praises Trump 10 years after helping elect him and their famous falling out: ‘He’s still delivering’

It has been nearly 10 years since Jeff Sessions, then Alabama’s junior senator, took the stage with Donald Trump and became the first in Congress to endorse the political outsider for president.

Today, years after serving as Trump’s first Attorney General and their famous falling out, Sessions has nothing but praise for Trump as he finishes the first week of his second nonconsecutive term as president.

“I’m very pleased with what he is doing,” Sessions said. “The agenda items that caused me to endorse him back in 2016, he’s still delivering on.”

As U.S. Attorney General, Sessions’ recusal from investigations related to Russia’s involvement in the 2016 presidential election drew Trump’s wrath. For months, Trump bashed Sessions in public, making fun of his Southern accent and saying he “should be ashamed of himself” for allowing the special counsel’s investigation.

Sessions, in July, said he was praying for Trump following an attempted assassination during an outdoor rally in Butler, Penn.

“President Trump is a powerful leader. He never waivers,” Sessions said.

“He is always out front. He is physically courageous, and he will not be intimidated from taking his case to the American people. You can be sure this won’t stop President Trump.”

I watched it live and was discussing the speech on the old shuttered Toomer’s PB on the Auburn Undercover site. It was the first time I had experienced a political rally covered with an “in-game” thread.

There are a dozen or so refugees from that old site who are now regs here. It was good times and good people!
