Pleasant service at the counter, owner is a nice guy, burger is hot and fresh, very well seasoned and assembled.

$22 for a double, a small cup of fries, and a drink. $2 of that was a tip. Quite overpriced.

Yes I work 1 mile away. Food is good but sorry I’m not paying 20+ bucks for lunch. I would eat there a couple times a week if they would lower the prices.

$20 lunch is the new $10 lunch. If the burger is delicious, who cares what it costs? Buncha poors up in here.

Same way I feel about the new BBQ place on Exchequer.
I wanna try it, but $10 for a side of mac & cheese is stupidly priced.

Perhaps, but I'm a glutton and I need 2 burgers to fill me up

That's 8oz of Mac and Cheese. That's 3-4 servings so it's a little high, but $9 doesn't seem bad.

Well their website is not accurate then because it shows the double patty at $11

$11 is correct for just the traditional double. The other burgers are much more and the special of the week was $16 for just the burger. The fries and drink aren’t included and there is no combo upgrade for 3 or 4 dollars. It’s like $5.00 or something for seasoned fries and I guess three bucks for the drink.

It’s a great smash burger. It’s overpriced. Gonna cost you nearly $50 if you give a small tip for two people to eat a smash burger combo. That’s ridiculous , be honest.

Gotcha. I agree that’s ridiculous for a burger joint

They should have a 1oz serving size. That would be better for people trying to grab lunch which is what most people are doing from a place in Industriplex.

I’m guessing that their 1 and 2 meat come with 2oz portion since the 1 meat and 2 “sides” is less than buying two of their sides that they have listed as “shareable” on their site. I would be willing to bet they would also sell you a single size side if you only bought 1 meat.

Their burgers are really good.
The one with the goat cheese and pepper jelly is awesome, and so is the peanut butter and pepper jelly one.

To bring back up Riverside Patty down the street, you can get a cheeseburger and fries for just under $10 there.
Cheeseburger and fries and Wagyulicious is almost $20. Yes the Wagyulicious burger is better by a good bit imo, but people are tired of paying $20-$30 for lunch everyday. And I say this as i literally just finished eating a Wagyulicious burger.
The new menu item mac and cheese is fricking awesome. I wasn't goign to get a side, as i don't really care for their fries, but i love me some mac and cheese so had to try it. They must of used a blow torch on the top of it and gave it a hard crust, and it was really good.

Are the burgers actually wagyu? If so, the prices y'all are mentioning sound pretty low to me.

If it is not wagyu, what's up with the name?

They're real wagyu. I think the owner is on TD. I made a TD comment when they first opened about their buns being strange. Within a week, they were using completely different buns.

No one claims it's awesome.
It's ok, and it's cheap. That's the appeal. And it's been there for like 30 years now.

If you wanted a good burger, then go down the street to Wagyulicious and pay more for a good one.

They must have been listening to what we said on here b/c there were several complaints about the bread being terrible when it first opened, and the pickles were cheap crappy pickles. 2 weeks later they have normal good bread and great pickles, and it made all the difference in the world.

I think it's probably the best burger in town at the moment.
