I know about 15 years late to the party but it popped up on my HBOMax.

Worth the watch?

I really enjoyed it.. great premise.. i really like how the lead is a history teacher who throws in references to the founding fathers in context of an epic sci fi rebellion

It's nothing groundbreaking. But its worth a watch of if you would like a slightly cheesy sci-fi with some fun characters, some bad acting, and some relatively ridiculous plots wrapped up in science fiction and bends towards a revision of historical revolution stories in the backdrop of an alien invasion.

I enjoyed it until later in the series... and stopped watching it.

Won't say more as don't want to hint at spoilers...

It’s a type of show that was enjoyable for most, but people are going to be hesitant to recommend it because it’s nothing groundbreaking and its occasional cheesiness.

Myself included. I watched the entire series when it originally aired, and enjoyed it for what it was.

Same for the wife and me. I keep thinking of finishing but never do.

When the main character becomes "The Ghost" it goes downhill really, really fast.

The first season was highly promising. It was still entertaining in season 2 but slowly declined thereafter.

I’d throw this in with a long list of science fiction shows with a great premise that get bogged down into science “fantasy”.

We actually just started watching this also. About 6 episodes in. It’s ok for what it is. Just needed a Sci-Fi show in the rotation while waiting for our other shows to drop.

Yeah it’s cheesy but I’ll stick with it. Just made it to season 2
