What is the Tech Boards' preferred streaming service on August 2, 2025?

I'm doing some comparisons and am wondering what our resident streamers use. Tell me what you like and don't like about the services you use or have used recently.
Thanks in advance.
ETA: I am looking for something as a substitute to traditional cable, with ESPN/SECN as well as news channels as an option for locals, though I can simply use my antenna for that. It needs to be wife-compatible as wel.,

I use Hulu Plus Live TV, mainly because it includes the Disney bundle.

I am strongly considering that now. That is an attractive option.

Apple TV and HBOMAX have the best content IMO and both apps generally work without any technical problems.

YouTube TV because it is super easy to share and split costs and it is easy to travel with.

I've got it. Seems fine to me. You can get unlimited DVR cloud space for $10. You can either use the app on your TV or they will send you a dongle you plug in. The dongle comes with its own remote which I think makes navigating much easier.
I still am waiting on a true "a la carte" service. There are only about 5 channels I care about watching live. News and sports are about it. I don't need any other "channels" in the traditional sense. Most shows and movies these days can simply be streamed "on demand."

That’ll never happen
4-5 companies own most of the channels. They will force you into paying for all of the channels that they operate

YouTube TV and Amazon Prime have all we need.

@Vermilion
You may be pleased to know that Fox One is doing something very similar this fall. All of their news and sports channels can be streamed for one price (TBD).
Fox One Is Coming in the Fall 2025
Also, ESPN direct-to-consumer is about to launch, too. Combine those two and the news/sports folks may be a lot closer to where they want to be.

If you're after just a TV type service, YouTube TV is fall superior to HuluTV, IMO.
Sharing with kids in college, or traveling, YouTube TV is seamless. Hulu sucks in both situations. Hulu's app would also drop the freaking password at random times when I'm trying to watch a football game when traveling. It wouldn't take my save password from my password vault. It would force me to change the password, then it wouldn't let me use my old password that it said was incorrect. I rage quit Hulu.

Well, that sounds awful and would induce a rage quit from me.

Are there any updates on this as far as a launch date or anything? I haven't been able to find any.
Really hope this is up and running by start of football season because I hate paying for YouTubeTV just to watch sports on ESPN.
