How long would your state last if Federal money stopped showing up?

Tomorrow, suddenly, the flow of all money from the Federal spigot stops for your state. How long does your state’s society stay intact?

Depends. Does the state STILL have to spend money the fed REQUIRES it to spend???

Louisiana only get's 37.5% in O&G royalties whereas the rest of the states in the nation get 50%. Can Louisiana be bumped up to 50% with the rest of the states?

Oh wanna play your version of that game of gotcha? Okay let’s play, how do you perceive that playing out? Do only cities, counties or is it states that have taxes paid towards DC coffers be used in sending back out to those particular customers area? Since blue states are mostly blue due to urban density which generally require way more funding than they contribute do you not send anything back to those regions? Since red states that have lower populations but also have large blue cities that are requiring funding do we take it from the rest it the states payers and just give it to the ones in the blue cities of those states? Maybe you have a solution and I’m sure all of us want to hear about it

If the state of MO only remitted the necessary money to fund national defense and huge nationwide infrastructure projects I think the state would be much better off financially.
