You’re not eating enough protein, lifting often enough/hard enough, or all the above.

Getting more protein and lifting heavier/harder will likely help, as the others have suggested, but also be aware that about 25-40% of men over 45 have low testosterone levels. You lose about 1-2% per year after 40. Might be good to have that checked if you haven't already.

Easy answer is stop doing curls, start supplementing T, and lift heavy weights.
I don’t think it is a given that your arms will shrink at 50.

Don't worry, you won't. It takes a lot of work for that.

I think isolation exercises are a waste of time for most people, especially if you are using a machine. Your pull/back day doing pull ups and rows should hit the biceps enough.

Why not? Don’t want to work that hard?

Unless you want to enter a bodybuilding contest stop doing 10 sets of curls and wasting time on an "arm day". Replace with heavy squats, deadlifts and farmers carriers, and do a reasonable volume of dips and pull-up for accessory work. And protein.

If you successfully tear the muscle fibers in your arms, hit daily protein and calorie goals, your arms will grow because science

What exactly are you trying to accomplish? A low dose of TRT can work wonders if you’re hitting the gym 3-5 times a week

Bob's Red Mill almond powder is good. No seed oil, no artificial sweetener, no soy.
Also want to do fewer reps/more weight. Otherwise you're building endurance instead of strength.

As opposed to low weight/high reps I've found it to work better.

It’s amazing that the Internet still doesn’t get that 2/3 of the muscle in your arm is the triceps.
Squat, deadlift and bench, do some pull-ups.
