Weren't the files obtained by the feds during Trump's first administration?

I saw the headline and watched it earlier. He mostly went on about what elevated IQ people have been saying. If there was something in there linking him, it would have been released by prior administration

All indications are that Trump never visited the island and actually banned Epstein from Mar-a-Lago after learning he was trying to recruit girls there.
I have no doubt the Democrats would try to imply guilt with Trump. Just another version of the pee tape or 1000 other smears they attempted.

He's right and he has asked for the release of the Grand Jury testimony and for some strange reason the D's don't want that to come out and they have instructed the Obama judge to deny it as well.

I have no idea if this claim has any validity to it, but it is a curiosity that we had mostly forgotten about this story until a couple of months ago. Nothing has materially changed in the case, but now you can't avoid seeing something on Epstein unless you hide in a cave. So what resurrected this story?
