Whit Weeks has me pumped. Seems like the pressure isn’t getting to the team at all

Until Brian Kelly wins a first game, I'm nervous as hell no matter what.

Not until I see our defense be able to understand how a read option works.

Yes, but only because media day is the last formality before practice starts.

I actually am contrary to some others. The feeling around this team just gives you a better feeling towards week 1; similar to 2019. Confidence oozing out of the players and GN13 similar to how Joe seemed leading up to 2019.

In years past with BK, he always seemed concerned about certain groups leading up to the season, but this year feels different. He seems more vibrant and excited about the roster.

If this team can stay healthy and hungry, I feel like this is the year we break through, especially with the returning production, key additions to the defense, and a veteran 5th year senior QB who is poised for his breakout year. I’ve gotta good feeling about this group.

I think this is a stretch, only in that it isn't like he didn't put up some big numbers last year, is projected 1st rounder already, and is top 7 in most Heisman odds. He has room for improvement, obviously, and I expect to see that, but he isn't an unknown.

GN13

Just type Nuss, the same number of letters, and no one says GN13. Why didn't you type in JB9 instead of Joe?

But otherwise, I agree with what you are saying, the vibe does feel eerily similar.

Good thing Dabo hasn’t won an opener in several years

A win in the last game of the college season is all I’m wanting here.

I think the defense is going to be very good by the end of the season and the offensive line will be solid. The only problem is that they have to be very good right out the gate.

This is going to be a really good team. They just don't have a big margin for error so any mistakes or let downs could very easily cost them games.

I do think this defense is going to make a big jump in forcing turnovers and our return game should be near the top in CFB. Those two areas could be difference makers for us this season.

Same.

Otherwise, I honestly couldn't care less about what any player or coach, from any school, says at media day. No one is going to come out and say "well, I expect us to be terrible this season", and anything positive they say is irrelevant.

If this team was facing an opponent like USC from last year, or FSU from previous years for an opener, I would feel much better. But nope, we have to face #1 Clemson. It will tell us alot about this team for sure.
