other people's ancestors and were conquered. You should be privileged if your ancestors fought for your future and created a great society for you to thrive in. Why does everyone think this is so wrong? This has been happening for tens of thousands of years and is human nature. The facts are always twisted by people that want to gain something from it.

The problem is we let the conquered move into the conquering country and some people listen when they complain about it

I think you might want to look into your ancestry... did you have a grandfather die at a strangely young age...?

I read it more like tribalism... and there's not anything wrong with that.

So if the Chinese, Mexicans, or other group conquer North America, rape your wife, kill your kids, and put you to work in a slave labor camp ... them's the breaks; it's just human nature. No hard feelings.

People that ask a version of "Why does everyone think this is so wrong?" always imagine they are in the conquering group.

That's what you've been told to believe. Go read real history books and learn for yourself some history. And no, I would hate them and try to conquer them back.

Because "noble victim".

This typically refers to one who is portrayed as (or portrays themself as) one who "suffers greatly" (subjective) due to "circumstances beyond their control" (also subjective), and being assumed to have a sense of virtue or dignity (whether it exists or not). Their "suffering" is portrayed as tragic, highlighting the injustice and cruelty of the world around them, thus being used in an attempt to elevate them(self) to a position of moral authority.

Good lord, I feel like I am reading a white supremacy board when I read this. If you are going to post something to back up your racism, just come out and say it. Just say that it's the white people who conquered and created a "great society" etc.

Why would you just automatically think he is talking about white people?

Can Asian societies not conquer others?

Can African societies not conquer others?

Hell, can Inuit societies not conquer another?

Your view is quite racist my man.

Yea this is the correct answer right here. People need an excuse as to why they are not succeeding. And now that excuse is also used to justify that they are actually better than you because they have been oppressed.

Do any of us have ancestors who could claim to be “unconquered?”

Most European societies were repeatedly conquered long before developing modern nationalism.

There are 16 KFCs in Botswana.
Could you find Botswana on a map?
Also, The internationally recognized language for communication on international flights and between pilots and air traffic control is English.
Not Chinese.
